Inventory Specialist II - Project Based

This is a project-based employee role supporting the initial development phase of our autonomous vehicle platforms. Development phases of this nature typically span up to project completion (typically 2-4 years), though scope and duration are driven by business needs.JOB SUMMARYThe Inventory Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing all domestic shipping and receiving activities, including logistics coordination and required documentation. Assist with local supplier pickups and deliveries as required. Provides operational support for warehousing, inventory handling, and order fulfillment activities. Receives, unpacks, inspects, and stores incoming materials and supplies. Works under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, resolving routine issues independently and escalating more complex matters as appropriate.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssembles ordersComplete all required documentation for domestic shipmentsComplete receiving duties for incoming shipmentsPrepare goods for shippingTrack inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely arrivalFile claims for missing packages/damageReconcile reimbursementsHelp pull parts as needed for productionHelp with cycle counting and inventory management as neededAssist in any and all other Purchasing tasks as assignedESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLSHigh School Diploma Required(Associate or Bachelor's in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.)1 year of Shipping and Receiving or Inventory Experience (preferred)Strong time management and organizational skillsExceptional computer skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Export Documentation (preferred)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to work in both office and warehouse environments, including extended periods at a computer workstation.Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information in person, via phone, and through other electronic means.Ability to lift and move materials with normal industrial safe measures and safety precautionsEEO StatementAt Autonomous Solutions, Inc.
