Support Engineer II- Drone Operator - Pendleton OR

Job Title: Drone Operator (Support Engineer II) Contract: 6+ Months, potential to convert to a permanent position. If offered a permanent position, immediate eligibility for retirement benefits, health insurance, and pay increase. Location: 1901 NW 56th Drive , Pendleton OR 97801 Pay- Rate: $25/hr- $30/hr (On Experience.) Must Have: FAA part 107 certification / License. ("No Experience required who have Bachelors' degree or Associates degree with FAA part 107 certification / License.") The Flight Support Assistant will work closely with crew members. Candidates must be self-driven and responsible. Duties include: Assisting in crew briefings, mission planning, and performing critical roles in field operations Ensuring a safe operational environment Export Control License This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on client ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf. Basic Qualifications Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required Able to lift equipment and carry out physical activity with or without reasonable accommodation 2+ years of work experience or a completed Associates degree Hold a current and valid FAA Part 107 Able to pass Amazon Motor Vehicle Check Able to Pass an FAA mandated Drug Screening Willing to travel up to 2 weeks at a time Preferred Qualifications Interest in aviation Ability to work independently Strong decision making skills Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills Job Type: Contract Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
