Church Nursery Caregiver

We are seeking caring, reliable individuals to help provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for young children in a church nursery setting. Nursery caregivers support families by caring for infants and toddlers during Sunday morning services.Shifts take place on Sundays between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, typically lasting 2–3 hours. Caregivers may serve at churches located in the Mound, Wayzata, and Orono areas.Responsibilities:Supervise and care for infants and young children in the church nurseryEngage children through age-appropriate play, reading, and activitiesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized nursery environmentComfort children as needed and communicate respectfully with parents/guardiansFollow nursery safety procedures and check-in/check-out protocolsWork collaboratively with other nursery staff or volunteersQualifications:Experience caring for infants or young children preferred (babysitting, childcare, teaching, etc.)Warm, patient, and attentive demeanorReliable and punctual for scheduled Sunday shiftsAbility to interact positively with children and familiesPosition Details:$16-$18Sundays onlyShifts between 8:00 AM – 12:00 PMTypical shift length: 2–3 hours*Please note that during this time of COVID-19, Jovie expects all employees to follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices when working and in their personal time.
