We are hiring for General Manager – Pork Processing FacilityLocation: Sioux City, Iowa | Shift: Multi-shift OperationsBenefits: Full time benefits, Bonus, Relocation Assistance providedWe are seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead all operations at a large, modern, high-volume pork processing facility. This is an executive-level role responsible for the plant's overall performance, including safety, production, quality, engineering, maintenance, continuous improvement, labor management, and profitabilityKey Responsibilities:Lead all plant operations and drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Oversee production scheduling, capacity planning, and throughput optimization.Manage labor, yields, raw materials, and operational KPIs.Lead, hire, coach, and develop plant leadership and hourly teams.Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, GMPs, and food safety standards.Candidate Profile:Pork processing experience is required10+ years of plant leadership experience in meat/pork processing.Strong expertise in production, safety, quality, maintenance, engineering, and continuous improvement.Proven success in managing large, multi-shift USDA-regulated operations.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, or related field.Must be open to relocating to Sioux City, IA.Work Environment: Fast-paced pork processing plant; exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and high-volume operations. Must be able to move throughout the plant, lift up to 50 lbs. and navigate all areas safely.
