Rush Transportation & Logistics, a local, growing logistics company in Southwest and Central Ohio is seeking a Sales Executive to help us grow our business. Rush Sales Executives are a vital point of contact between our business and our clients – YOU are an invaluable part of our success! Working alongside our team of professional drivers and our operations team, you will initiate new relationships and grow current relationships that result in meaningful long-term partnerships.

Job Summary:
The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and initiating new relationships while maintaining and growing current relationships. This involves prospecting, cold calling, performing discovery, proposing solutions, and closing opportunities to be transitioned to the operations team for execution.
You must possess excellent business and sales acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit with a success-driven attitude, strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal), are detail oriented and have a passion to work with a team to exceed customer expectations.
What You'll Do:
Prospect for new customers and drive sales opportunities by identifying decision makers, understanding their needs, and aligning our services as a solution
Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure short and long-term goals are met
Maintain an active sales pipeline to ensure YOY volume and revenue growth
Provide an excellent customer service experience when things don’t go as planned
Ensure commitments are met by working with internal teams on solution design, implementation, and problem resolution
Keep up with industry trends and news and use this knowledge to create demand with customers
Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned
