As a vital part of our IT operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our database infrastructure while supporting critical business initiatives.Perform MongoDB software installations and standalone database configurationsSet up and manage MongoDB replica sets to ensure high availabilityConduct backup, restoration, and disaster recovery (DR) testing activities for MongoDBExecute switchover and failover operations to maintain service continuityAdd or remove nodes in a MongoDB cluster with zero downtimeConvert standalone environments to replica set environments and vice versaUtilize and manage multiple MongoDB GUI interfaces for effective database administrationRefresh MongoDB databases from production to non-production environmentsImplement high availability (HA) solutions for MongoDB to minimize system downtimeOversee user authentication, role-based access, and overall user managementOptimize production server disk usage and performanceReview and create indexes for optimal database query performanceApply expertise with geo-spatial databases and implement change streams in MongoDBRefresh MS-SQL databases as needed for cross-platform database integration and maintenance
