We build projects with passion and are driven by the anticipation of the impact they will have in our communities- for years to come.ROLE OVERVIEW:BOWA is looking for a talented VDC Project Lead that has a personal and professional interest in executing BIM and VDC duties on large construction projects. This individual will report to the VDC Senior Project Manager and be responsible for implementing BIM and VDC processes and functions. This is great opportunity for a candidate interested in making a positive impact on the largest construction project currently in Texas.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the planning, implementation, and management of BIM/VDC strategies across all project phasesOversee model development, coordination, and integration across multiple disciplinesServe as the primary point of contact for BIM/VDC-related efforts with internal teams, consultants, and trade partnersEstablish and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across projectsProvide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to VDC engineers and project teamsManage clash detection, coordination meetings, and model-based problem-solving initiativesDrive innovation through the use of advanced VDC tools and technologies to improve project deliverySupport project teams with constructability reviews, sequencing (4D), and cost integration (5D) where applicableEnsure quality control of models and digital deliverables in alignment with project requirementsCollaborate closely with field teams to align virtual models with on-site executionLead training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts related to BIM/VDC processesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in BIM/VDC or related roles within the construction industryProven experience leading BIM coordination efforts on large-scale construction projectsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skillsAdvanced proficiency in BIM/VDC software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, or similar platforms)Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams effectivelyExperience implementing BIM execution plans (BEPs) and project standardsStrong problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiencyBENEFITS:Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance - 70% Employer contribution & Employee HSA contribution*Performance Based Bonuses - % of base salaryParental LeaveBasic Life and AD&D InsuranceShort Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Vacation, Sick Time, & HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program - (provides resources for a variety of personal and family services
