DevOps Engineer Cloud Solutions
Overview As part of your agile DevOps team, you will develop and operate identity and access management applications for Swisscom's B2B customers. You will design and develop software (frontend & backend) in an interdisciplinary team and contribute to the quality and security of our systems.
Responsibilities Responsibility for the high quality of services and use of modern software architectures and cloud technologies
Operation, lifecycle, further development and monitoring of the data centre infrastructure for managed UC solutions (public, private and hybrid cloud)
Collaboration in change, problem and incident management and support for customers during cloud transformation
Ensuring and monitoring the applications in the operating environments (Linux, Windows) and creating CI/CD pipelines
Development and operation of applications in a multicultural, self-organised team
Passion for the entire software lifecycle from analysis to design, implementation, testing and operation
Responsibility for the entire project from implementation to operation – "You build it, you run it!"
Working in an international and geographically distributed team, developing scalable solutions with modern cloud technologies
Supporting the personal development of team members in an agile and self-organised team
Versatile tasks in the field of the latest network technologies and personal development in a hybrid working environment
Qualifications Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science or a related field
Very good knowledge of Cisco UCS, VMWare, Dell/EMC storage and Microsoft server technologies
Experience with DevOps automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Karate, Gatling, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, PowerShell, Python and Ansible)
Knowledge of identity and access management as well as software development with Java and JavaScript
Experience in setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions
Expertise in AWS services and infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform and CloudFormation
In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
Practical experience in project management
Strong customer and service orientation
Structured, goal-oriented, independent and precise work
Very good German and English
