Principal Program Manager (Technical), Personal Devices
Overview
In this role you coordinate end-to-end programs for next-generation devices, uniting hardware, software, design, and supply chain to ship at scale. You connect diverse teams, manage external partners, and drive execution from concept through mass production. You’ll shape program architecture, mitigate risks, and keep leadership informed with real-time health signals. This role offers impact across devices that define the Alexa-enabled customer experience and scale across global partners.

ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end program execution from concept to mass production ramp, including EVT/DVT/PVT, software integration, and regulatory certification.Coordinate across hardware, software/AI, industrial design, operations, and supply chain to deliver a coherent launch plan.Manage external partner and vendor relationships, aligning with silicon partners, contract manufacturers, component suppliers, and technology licensors.Define and maintain the master schedule, critical path, dependencies, and risk registers for leadership visibility.Facilitate rapid, data-informed trade-off decisions when schedule, cost, quality, and scope collide.Identify and mitigate risks early and build contingency plans to keep programs on track.Influence without formal authority to drive accountability across multiple teams and geographies.Raise the bar for program management by creating scalable processes, frameworks, and operating rhythms.
