Inventory SpecialistThe Inventory Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily inventory/shipping functions and ensuring smooth administrative operations at ND Sheets. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. The Inventory Specialist will: Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work. Manage inventory control and shipping planning/PGI. Assist with inventory data entry and updating internal systems accurately. Manage office supplies and coordinate inventory restocking. Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical. Prepare and proofread reports, memos, and other documents. Support HR functions such as timekeeping, onboarding documentation, and maintaining employee records. Handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence, direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Provide administrative support to managers and other staff as needed. Key performance indicators include shipping, inventory correctness, and accuracy with records. Qualifications and skills: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or administrative certification preferred. 2+ years of clerical experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment required, shipping and receiving experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). SAP experience a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail with inventory. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented. Core competencies include accountability for results, problem solving/root cause analysis, process discipline, and data driven decision making. Success profile includes consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs and using data to guide decisions. Working conditions include primarily office-based work with occasional visits to production areas and standard business hours with flexibility based on operational needs.
