Senior Renewable Electrical EngineerUtility-Scale Solar & Energy StorageThe OpportunityA growing renewable energy engineering group is seeking a Senior Renewable Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design efforts for large-scale solar and energy storage projects. This role offers technical ownership, client interaction, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Hybrid work from a U.S. office is preferred, though remote candidates will be considered.What You'll DoLead electrical design for utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and hybrid renewable projects (5 MW-100+ MW).Develop and review electrical drawings, one-lines, specifications, and construction documents.Perform and oversee power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, grounding, and protection coordination.Support clients with renewable integration and interconnection planning.Coordinate electrical scope, schedules, and resources across multiple projects and offices.Guide equipment selection and technical evaluations.Communicate clearly with clients, internal teams, and vendors.Travel to project sites occasionally (~10%).What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Approximately 8-10 years of experience in renewable energy or power systems.PE license, EIT, or ability to obtain PE licensure.Experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, ETAP/SKM, and protection systems (SEL preferred).Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Compensation & BenefitsAnnual performance-based bonus401(k) with employer contributionComprehensive health, dental, vision, HSA/FSA optionsPaid time off, holidays, and volunteer time offProfessional development and education support
