Our Codes and Standards department located in Ontario, CA is looking for a talented Engineer to join our team.
The role of Standard Development Engineer will be to administer the day-to-day and functional aspects of the IAPMO Standards Development Department for ANSI and SCC accredited standards, such functions include Maintaining current IAPMO national standards, assisting the Senior Director on the development of industry standards by creating, monitoring, and implementing operational procedures, and complying with procedures for regulations, governing consensus development, and serving as a subject matter expert. This team member will also implement timelines for publications, conduct research, and write articles and various other technical documents utilizing code language while acting as a representative, and principal liaison between IAPMO, relevant organizations, and committees plus other duties as assigned.
A quality contender for this position will have outstanding project management skills and demonstrated abilities in the communication of technical information in a clear and understanding manner.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
· Knowledge and understanding of Standards is a plus.
· Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to develop and manage timelines.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year
