Pool Admissions Worker

Under general supervision, responsible for collecting admission fees at the swimming pool facility. Hours will vary and will require evening and weekend shifts. Reports to the Special Events and Leisure Programmer or Designee. Special Duties & Responsibilities Supports the mission, vision, and goals of the Spotsylvania County Parks & Recreation Department. Verifies residency, calculates admission fees, receives monies from patrons, and provides correct change. Monitors patron counts for attendance information. Enforces admission rules and manages admissions for each patron (cash or pool pass). Responds immediately and effectively to any pool emergency, reporting the emergency immediately to the supervisor, and assisting with reporting. Communicates pool rules and policies in a professional and courteous manner to pool participants. Inspects safety equipment.
