Job Full DescriptionAn Accounting Company in Saint Charles, IL is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team!! THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION AT 25 HOURS PER WEEK. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY REQUIRED. Pay Rate: $25.00 Per Hour The candidate we are looking for MUST have proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks desktop and online. Knowledge of and experience in Payroll processing is definitely a plus. This is a Part-time position at 25 hours/wk. with Monday thru Friday required.Candidate must have great communication skills to interact with clients. This position may include and/or expand to additional work with sales tax reporting, bank reconciliations, data entry in QuickBooks, and electronic document storage depending on skill level. This can be a growth position. Responsibilities• Gather payroll information from clients• Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system (QuickBooks)• Process taxes and reports with taxing agencies• Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from clients• After-the-Fact payroll processing• Prepare reports for clients & tax agenciesSkills• Experience as payroll processor a PLUS• Basic understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices• Proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks• Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality• Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail• Excellent communication skills• Reliability to get the job done• High school diploma or experience, preferably some accounting knowledge Job Type: Part-timeExpected hours: 25 per weekBenefits: Flexible scheduleExperience level: 2 yearsSchedule: Monday-Friday requiredEducation: High school or equivalent (Required)Work Location: In personExperience: Microsoft Word & Excel, QuickBooks-Desktop & Online, Google Docs, Payroll,General Bookkeeping Please reach out to Express Employment Professionals North Aurora at 630-429-91133156North Aurora, IL 3156 1135 Oak Street North Aurora, IL 60542
