Tax AccountantLocation: Stamford, CT (100% in-office)Compensation: $50-70/hrPosition SummaryA well-established investment firm is seeking a Tax Accountant to support its tax team due to growth. This role will focus on partnership tax and asset management-related tax functions, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors. The ideal candidate will have strong tax experience within asset management and be comfortable working in a collaborative, in-office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review tax work papers and supporting documentationAssist with partnership tax returns, including K-1sSupport tax reporting and coordinate with external accounting firmsReview tax documents and reports for accuracy and completenessHandle tax-related correspondence, including state notices and filingsCommunicate with internal teams and external partners regarding tax mattersQualificationsStrong experience in partnership tax and asset management is strongly preferredPublic accounting or industry tax experience is idealAbility to review and analyze tax work papers and financial documentsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication skills and willingness to collaborateAbility to work independently and meet deadlines
