Certified Dental Assistant

The Certified Dental Assistant provides direct patient care and chairside support during dental procedures, assisting clinical staff with evaluations, treatments, and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities include assisting during procedures, monitoring vital signs, taking dental X-rays, ensuring patient identification, and supporting care planning. Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program, CDA and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant certifications, CPR certification, and registration as a Dental Assistant in NJ with a valid radiologic license. Preferred candidates have 2+ years of experience and additional certifications. The role offers weekly pay at $25/hour, along with benefits such as medical coverage, 401(k), and career development opportunities. It is a 4-month contract with potential extension or permanent placement, based in Newark, NJ.
