Phlebotomy Instructor – Hybrid Solutions Training & Testing Center Job Title: Phlebotomy Instructor (Part-Time) Company: Hybrid Solutions Training & Testing Center Location: Houston, TX Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (based on experience and credentials) Hybrid Solutions Training & Testing Center is seeking an experienced and engaging Phlebotomy Instructor to teach students preparing for careers in healthcare. The ideal candidate is passionate about student success and has hands-on phlebotomy experience combined with teaching or training experience. The instructor will be responsible for classroom instruction, laboratory demonstrations, skills assessments, attendance tracking, and preparing students for national certification exams. Responsibilities Deliver phlebotomy curriculum in classroom and lab settings Demonstrate proper venipuncture and capillary collection techniques Teach infection control, safety procedures, specimen handling, and patient interaction Monitor student progress and provide academic support Administer quizzes, exams, and skills evaluations Maintain attendance and student records Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements Prepare students for national certification examinations Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience Current national phlebotomy certification (NHA, NCCT, AMCA, ASPT, or equivalent) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred: Previous teaching, training, or clinical education experience Associate's degree or higher Experience working in a vocational school, community college, hospital, or healthcare training environment Schedule Evening and weekend classes available Flexible scheduling Approximately 8–20 hours per week Benefits Flexible schedule Professional development opportunities Opportunity to help students launch healthcare careers Supportive educational environment Application Questions Do you currently hold a national phlebotomy certification?
