Office Manager
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources and Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the HR department, providing administrative support, and working with key vendors including some bill paying responsibilities. The Manager will take a leading role in the further development of a healthy and supportive company culture; we believe that by centering our coworkers, we can deliver the best experience for our customers; your work will be vital to our focused efforts to continuously improve the coworker experience.
The Human Resources and Office Manager will be in-office three days a week and can be remote the other two if preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to align with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring all positions are filled with qualified candidates.
- Coordinate the onboarding process, providing new employees with a comprehensive orientation.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient workspace; identify opportunities to improve the warehouse and office work environment.
- Arrange travel for coworkers as needed
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including handling communications, onboarding new vendors, and occasional bill pay.
- Develop and conduct training programs, focusing on employee development and growth.
- Plan and coordinate company events.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws and employment laws.
- Miscellaneous projects.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in HR management, office administration, and/or bookkeeping/AP.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures.
- Experience with budgeting and vendor management.
- Experience in office management and administrative tasks.
- Experience in training development and event planning.
- Proficiency in office software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
