Card Check Attendant Lebanon, OH 45036 Overview Salary Range $11.25 - $11.25 Hourly Position Type Part Time Early AM Card Check Attendant Join our YMCA team as the friendly face that welcomes our members every morning! As a Card Check Attendant, you'll serve as the first point of contact for members and guests entering our facility and outdoor pool area, providing courteous, timely, and helpful service to everyone who walks through our doors. Requirements18+ years of age High School Diploma or Equivalent Strong customer service with a friendly, outgoing demeanor Computer proficiency Reliable, punctual attendance Must pass a pre-hire background check, reference check and new hire training requirements Essential FunctionsGreet members warmly and by name whenever possible upon entry and exit Verify membership cards at the facility entrance Assist members with guest sign-ins, record forgotten cards, and answer questions Accurately handle guest fees and provide correct change Maintain a clean and organized entry area and desk station Close, balance, and process night deposits Communicate up-to-date information about classes, programs, schedules, and facility services Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally Refer members to the appropriate department or staff as needed Track member concerns and notify supervisors of any behavioral situations Support scholarship fundraising activities Follow all safety and risk management procedures and report concerns to a supervisor Perform other duties as assigned Physical RequirementsThis role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. The work environment ranges from moderate to busy noise levels depending on facility activity.
