Now Hiring:Marine Electricians Location: Mississippi Company:NSC StaffingNSC Staffingis seeking skilledCommercial or Marine Electriciansfor an exciting upcoming project in Mississippi. We are looking for candidates with2-5 years of experienceas an electrician, with solid working knowledge of shipboard and industrial/commercial practices, especially on military bases and industrial facilities.Essential Job Functions -Electrician As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for: Repairing, installing, replacing, and testingcomplex electrical circuits, cables, and equipment. Utilizing hand tools and specialized testing equipmentfor inspection and maintenance. Inspecting and testing various electrical systems, including lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits. Identifying defects in electrical systems such as wiring, switches, and motors using specialized tools. Replacing faulty elements such as switches, sockets, and wiring. Dismantling and repairing electrical machineryreplacing defective mechanical or electrical components. Installing motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and completing circuits according to diagrams. Working from technical documentation, includingblueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams . Providing guidance and leadership to junior team members. Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance withestablished safety procedures . Participating inspecial projectsas required.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum3-5 years of experienceas a commercial or marine electrician. Hands-on experience with complex electrical systems and components. Ability to work independently fromtechnical drawings and schematics . Strong working knowledge ofshipboard and industrial/commercial electrical systems . Familiarity with OSHA regulations and experience working in compliance with safety protocols.
