Chief Financial Officer

From inventory flow to forecasting precision, from vendor negotiations to warehouse throughput - this role sits at the heartbeat of the business, translating strategy into real-world operational/financial performance.What You’ll Own – Operational/Financial Leadership:Architect and lead the end-to-end operating model across supply chain, procurement, fulfillment, and logisticsDrive alignment between sales forecasts, inventory strategy, and purchasing decisionsOwn vendor relationships, global sourcing strategy, and cost optimization across the supply chainBuild and track best-in-class KPIs: inventory turns, fill rates, OTIF, lead times, and cost-per-orderEnsure operational readiness for seasonal spikes, product launches, and high-volume eventsLead a fully integrated forecasting engine across sales, operations, and financeTranslate demand signals into precise purchasing and inventory strategiesOptimize SKU mix, manage inventory aging, and improve working capital efficiencyConnect forecasting tools with ERP systems to create real-time, actionable purchasing insightsElevate fulfillment performance across eCommerce, retail, and distribution channelsImprove warehouse efficiency, throughput, and accuracyOptimize 3PL relationships, freight strategy, and shipping economicsIdentify and eliminate friction across systems, workflows, and cross-functional processesOwn the financial strategy, planning process, and long-term roadmapLead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis tied directly to operational driversBuild scalable reporting frameworks for leadership, board stakeholders, and external partnersTranslate operational activity into clear financial narratives and decision-making insightBuild, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance and accounting functionImplement compensation structures and performance-based incentive frameworksHelp transition the organization from founder-driven to process-driven and scalableWhat You Bring:Proven experience operating across finance & operations - not just reporting, but running the businessDeep exposure to inventory-driven environments (consumer goods, retail, or similar)Strong command of supply chain finance, demand planning, and working capital optimizationExperience scaling systems, integrating tools, and building processes from the ground upAbility to move seamlessly between boardroom strategy and on-the-ground executionExperience in founder-led or transitioning organizations is highly valued12+ years of progressive finance/operational leadership experiencePrior experience in a senior leadership role – a combination of financial and operational leadershipTrack record of building teams, systems, and reporting infrastructure—not inheriting themStrong ERP and planning system experience (NetSuite or similar)
