SRP Operator I - 2nd Shift
Title: SRP Operator I Reports to: SRP Supervisor Location: Holland, MI LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries! www.lgenergymi.com Summary: As an SRP Operator I you will monitor, make minor adjustments, operate HMI control panels, and perform quality checks to ensure you provide high quality material to internal and external customers. Responsibilities: Perform laboratory tests on material to ensure they meet quality inspection criteria and specifications Support analysis of test results and assist with implementing corrective measures as necessary to ensure that all materials comply with established quality standards Support light wrenching and maintenance tasks on SRP tower equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent equipment malfunctions Ensure proper handling of various solvents during sampling, testing, and cleaning Assist with the management of hand tool inventories, ensuring they are well-maintained, readily available, and stored properly Support the inventory of SRP materials, including tracking stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring proper storage and handling Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position Follow established work instructions Able and willing to perform tasks in all weather conditions Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required Maintain cleanliness at worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience: 1 to 3+ years of manufacturing experience Skills: Basic computer literacy Communication skills Problem solving and analytical skills Basic arithmetic ability Reading and writing skills Ability to work well with individuals and teams to ensure the team meets & exceeds expectations Physical Requirements: Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours Safety glasses Steel-toed shoes nitrile gloves ear protection clean room suit Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds Stoop, twist, bend Reach overhead Sit and/or stand Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
