We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting baked goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, warehouse operations, and handling heavy loads. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Duties ● Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various restaurants and wholesale locations. ● Prior to deliveries, this person must be able to properly bag and stage orders. This includes confirming order counts, proper labeling and including invoices. ● Deliver products to customers efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery documentation and ensuring customer satisfaction. ● Assist with route planning and navigation to optimize delivery times. ● Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally and courteously during deliveries. ● As needed, provide staffing support at the seasonal summer Farmers Markets (afternoon/evening). These are outdoor markets during the week. ● Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Additionally, make sure all bread racks are returned at the end of the day. ● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times. ● Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and driving operations. Requirements ● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. ● Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with experience operating commercial vehicles. ● Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills. ● Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks such as moving items and loading/unloading cargo. ● Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude. ● Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on assigned routes.
