Senior Java Software Engineer

Required Qualifications: Extensive hands-on experience with Core Java and Java/J2EE development. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and Java design patterns. Strong experience with Spring Framework, including:

• Spring BootSpring MVCSpring Security
• Spring Integration
• Spring Data JPADemonstrated experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of REST, JSON, and web service integration.
• Good understanding of SOAP web services.
• Experience developing enterprise web applications and distributed systems.
• Experience building and integrating services across multiple applications and platforms.
• Strong understanding of application performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Experience with Git, Maven, and JUnit.
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot for Java development, code refactoring, REST API development, and unit test generation.
• Ability to review and validate AI-generated code for security, quality, and performance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, technical leadership, and collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications: Full-stack application development experience. Experience with cloud-native and containerized applications. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of modern observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Experience leading technical design discussions and mentoring development teams.
