Construction Systems Owner – Mechanical / HVAC

Desired Start Date: Late-May/Early-June 2026Anticipated Length of Contract: 12 months+Work Location: Lebanon, IN (fully onsite)Pay Rate: W2: $87–$120/hr | 1099/C2C: $98–$135/hrOverviewField?based technical authority responsible for mechanical and HVAC systems, including cleanroom HVAC, mechanical equipment, associated piping, and system interfaces. Ensures installations meet IFC drawings, GMP standards, and are ready for inspection, Mechanical Completion, and turnover.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the mechanical discipline owner in the fieldVerify HVAC, mechanical, and associated piping installations meet IFC drawings and GMP requirementsIdentify and escalate installation deviations, quality concerns, and readiness risksSupport Mechanical Completion walkdowns, inspections, and punch list closureReview mechanical documentation including weld logs, pressure tests, flushing, and as?builtsCoordinate mechanical interfaces with CSA, electrical, process systems, and vendor packagesSupport readiness for commissioning and turnover to C&Q and operationsBackground Needed5-10 years supporting mechanical and HVAC systems on GMP/pharma capital projectsStrong experience with cleanroom HVAC systems (AHUs, ductwork, chillers, controls)Familiarity with high?purity piping, flushing, passivation, and pressure testingKnowledge of GMP construction practices and HVAC codes/standards (ASHRAE, IMC, etc.)Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering preferred
