Travel Critical Care Registered Nurse - Minneapolis, Minnesota

Provide specialized, high-acuity care as a Critical Care RN within a dynamic float team supporting pediatric intensive care units. This role involves managing complex cardiac surgical and trauma cases, requiring expert clinical skills and decisive critical thinking. Work at a renowned medical center located in Minneapolis, MN, known for its comprehensive pediatric care and commitment to patient outcomes.Responsibilities:Deliver expert nursing care to pediatric CVICU and PICU patients, including pre-operative, immediate post-operative, and trauma cases.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to changes in status.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and progress.Uphold safety and infection control standards to provide a secure healing environment.Participate in ongoing professional development and training.Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited nursing program.Current active Minnesota RN licensure.Valid BLS and PALS certifications.Minimum two years of pediatric CVICU nursing experience with competency in cardiac patient care or two years in PICU with trauma and surgical patient expertise.Schedule/Hours:12-hour day or night shifts.Work schedule includes every other weekend.FTE: 0.9.This is a travel position offering the opportunity to engage in rewarding pediatric critical care while experiencing the vibrant city of Minneapolis.
