CNC Programmer/Engineer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with expertise in various manufacturing processes. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing CNC programs for both lathe and milling machines, ensuring high precision and efficiency in production.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs using Fanuc, SolidWorks, CAM, ESPRIT, Mastercam and Vericut programming tools.
Interpret blueprints and schematics to create detailed machining instructions.
Utilize GD&T principles to ensure precision in manufacturing processes.
Operate CNC lathe and milling machines while adhering to safety standards.
Conduct inspections using coordinate measuring machines (CMM), bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers to verify part dimensions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues during production runs.
Maintain documentation of CNC programs, tooling setups, and process improvements.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience in a job shop environment.
Proficient in CNC programming with hands-on experience in machining environments.
Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and CATIA for design purposes.
Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
Understanding of geometry and math principles relevant to precision manufacturing.

Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. $65,000 - $75,000 annually.
