Key Qualifications:Active and unrestricted RN licenseMinimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab settingAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications requiredStrong knowledge of cath lab procedures and cardiac monitoringProficient with sterile techniques and emergency response protocolsExcellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently during high-pressure situationsPrimary Responsibilities:Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, angiograms, and device placementsMonitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to changes in conditionPrepare patients for procedures and offer education regarding post-procedure careMaintain strict adherence to sterile field protocols and infection control practicesAdminister medications and manage conscious sedation as neededAccurately document all aspects of patient care and procedural detailsProvide ongoing assessment and support throughout the peri-procedural processThis is a contract position offering an opportunity to make a significant impact in a specialized cardiac care environment.
