This role formalizes ownership of standard product lifecycle management, ensures rigorous quality and certification compliance, and strengthens technical capability through structured training initiatives. The position partners closely with Engineering, Operations, and Sales and reports to the Business Segment Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesStandard Product ManagementLead management of the full standard product (SP) portfolio, including antennas, instrumentation, standard positioners, pre-configured systems, and other standard offerings.Establish and maintain a matrix of engineering-based product managers for specific standard products.Oversee all standard products entering production, ensuring build quality and adherence to specifications.Support Operations with technical and quality matters related to standard products.Partner with Engineering during the New Product Development (NPD) cycle to address product certifications and compliance requirements.Collaborate with Sales and Operations to forecast standard product demand and support business planning.Quality ManagementLead active engagement with Production and Engineering to oversee product and process quality.Administer and maintain all quality programs and quality management systems.Own ISO and A2LA certification programs, including audits and continuous improvement activities.Oversee product production flow, pre-shipment inspections, and quality gate processes.Manage third-party quality certifications as required.Advise Engineering on certification programs including, but not limited to, NRTL, CE, SGS, and other regulatory or customer-driven requirements.Technical TrainingProvide oversight of engineering cross-training and workforce technical development.Partner with Engineering leadership to identify training needs aligned with product, quality, and business objectives.Assign training material development to engineering resources and ensure timely completion.Schedule and coordinate internal training sessions as required.Track and maintain training records.Support NSI-MI short courses and external-facing technical training offerings.Support internship and co-op programs related to engineering and technical disciplines.People LeadershipProvide direct leadership to Quality Engineering and System & Product Management staff.Set goals, manage performance, and support professional development of direct reports.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.10+ years of experience in product management, quality management, engineering, or manufacturing within a technical or industrial environment.5+ years of experience in a leadership or people management role.Demonstrated experience with quality management systems, certifications, and regulatory compliance.Due to the nature of NSI-MI Technologies’ programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and be legally authorized to access export-controlled information.Ability to travel as required.Desired QualificationsExperience supporting ISO, A2LA, and third-party certification audits.Experience working within aerospace, defense, RF, or high-technology manufacturing environments.Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence Engineering, Operations, and Sales.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.What’s In It For YouCompetitive compensation, holiday pay, and paid time off Great benefits package that includes health, vision, and dental insurance401(k), plus matchingFlexible spending accounts (FSAs), health savings account (HSA) with AMETEK contribution, life insurance, disability insurance, and family medical leaveEmployee referral programTuition reimbursement program Employee assistance programExciting, fast-paced environment where you could make a true impactOpportunities for career advancement within our business unit and across all other AMETEK business entitiesThis position is located in Suwanee, Georgia, a vibrant and welcoming community just 30 miles north of Atlanta.
