Dietary Cook

Avir at Seguin - We are seeking an experienced Dietary Cook to join our team! Prepare and cook high quality hot and cold foods for regular and modified diets for residents, guests, and employees of the facility in accordance with the State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and the standards set forth by the facility by performing the following duties.Responsibilities:Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.Prepare and cook food in batches maintaining high quality and appeal.Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.Qualifications:Previous nursing home experience preferredCulinary and/or food service experience in a healthcare facility preferredBenefits:Medical/Dental/Vision InsuranceAncillary policies including Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital CoverageVoluntary Life Insurance and AD&DPaid Time OffRetirement 401KUnparalleled Corporate Support
