Program Manager Flight Manager Support

Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position $70,000 - $95,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Manages daily operations, including instructor assignments, training pipeline oversight, and performance tracking, while ensuring alignment with mission requirements and contract objectives. Provides instructor coverage across FM training as needed and ensures continuity of operations.Additional Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToProvide periodic status updates and performance reporting to Government stakeholdersKnowledge and application of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies for training development and deliveryDeliver Initial Mission Qualification Training (MQT), continuation/recurrent training, and Just-in-Time (JIT) training in accordance with PWS requirementsEvaluate trainee performance through written and practical assessments, provide remediation, and validate completion of training objectivesAdminister/instruct an FM Initial Mission Qualification Training (MQT) Program not more than two times per year, with no more than 10 personnel per class/maximum of 20 personnel per year.Develop, update, maintain, document, and administer/instruct classroom-based FM instructional material (lesson plans, slides, handouts, etc.) for MDS aircraft training (C-5, C-17, KC- 135, KC-10, KC-46, C-130, C-130J, C-21) and other airframesDevelop, update, maintain, document, and administer/instruct TACC weapon systems training. TACC weapon systems training consists of training all FMs in the command, control, communication and computers (C4) systems used by the TACC.Utilize GDSS 2 (and follow-on systems), MAFPS (and follow-on systems), Interactive Mission Record (IMR), Aircrew Departure Planning Application (ADP), weather alert and mission tracking software and all current supporting and complementary softwareTrain/coordinate training for all new FM capabilities/requirements, hardware, software and courseware. In addition, FM weapon systems training includes hardware, architecture and network integration to a level of understanding that FMs can precisely identify and effectively write up weapon system discrepanciesCoordinate with other vendors/government agencies/training providers to ensure all weapon system training capabilities and requirements are metMaintain Electronic Training Folders and training records, including documentation of training hours, evaluations, and certification status, and submit to the COR as requiredSupport student in-processing, training scheduling, and coordination with the Training Coordinator to ensure training pipeline continuityMaintain proficiency in mission planning systems and operational procedures to ensure training remains aligned with current mission requirementsIntegrate real-world mission planning scenarios into training to reinforce operational application and decision-makingDevelop, administer, document, and maintain FM specific upgrade training for the FM Evaluator, Instructor, Quality Check, Air Traffic Management Coordinator, and any additionally approved MAJCOM specific training.Ensure compliance with applicable Air Force, MAJCOM, and contract training requirements and standardsReview and update existing training curriculum and materials as necessary to maintain compliance with airspace changes or flight safety issues that may arise in addition to all changes to governing AFMANs, AFIs, MAJCOM directives and guidance, Aircraft FCIFs, 618th AOC FM Read Files and Operating Instructions. Train during all three shifts on a Just-In-Time/as required basisProvide continuous training coverage and augment instruction or operations as required to meet mission needPerform other duties, as assigned.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 6 years of relevant experienceIn-depth knowledge and practical experience with Flight Manager (FM) applications, tools, procedures, and processesPrior Flight Manager instructor experienceRated Instructor (former K- or T-coded) with familiarity in military airlift and aerial refueling operationsExperience supporting the 618th Air Operations Center (AOC) Command and Control (C2) environmentsWorking knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies for training development and deliveryDemonstrated ability to develop, update, and maintain courseware to meet evolving operational requirementsInstructors meet AFMAN 11-255 requirements by maintaining full operational qualification, formal designation as instructors, and demonstrated ability to train, evaluate, and certify personnel in accordance with AMC C2 training standards.Knowledge of planning, organizing, directing, operating and evaluating Air Force training programs.Education RequirementsBachelor’s of Science or ArtsOther Required Skills & AbilitiesMust be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.Security Clearance RequirementsSecret ClearanceUS Citizenship RequirementsThis position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
