A qualified applicant should have estimating and sales experience with commercial frames, doors, and hardware and specialty products.Essential Functions Estimating from blueprints Meet planned sales and margin expectations Manage sales of assigned accounts monitoring product and delivery needs Represent the company knowledgeably and professionally Provide solutions to customers relating to material procurement, distribution and application Perform bid reviews to ensure we are priced profitably and competitively Conduct telemarketing calls at slow periods to proactively look for new business Manage customer relations between all branch location departments and customer Collaborate with accounting on collection of accounts receivable Estimates materials from information provided by counter customer when needed Prepares and inputs orders as needed and researches and orders special products as necessary Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications 3-5 years relevant work experience Knowledge and experience with doors, frames and hardware industry Knowledge of Comsense Detail-oriented Customer service and problem solving skills Must pass pre-employment background check and drug testKnowledge, Skills And Abilities Experience using Microsoft Office products required Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skillsPhysical DemandsThis position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.Work EnvironmentThis role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware.
