Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contracted opportunity is available for a School Psychologist for the 20262027 school year, serving as a contracted employee through a therapy staffing agency assigned to local schools in Hubert, NC. This role focuses on supporting student development through psychological services in a school environment.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate cognitive, social, functional, and personal development for all students.Identify and assess learning, behavioral, developmental, and mental health needs.Develop and implement interventions and programs based on student assessments.Assist in planning and evaluating programs that support student growth.Consult with parents, teachers, school staff, and community agencies to enhance student support.Deliver coordinated psychological services and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams.Uphold ethical standards and comply with relevant laws and policies governing school psychological services.Maintain accurate records, adhere to timelines, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.Engage in ongoing professional development and participation in professional organizations.Qualifications:Must hold or be eligible to obtain a North Carolina educators license as a School Psychologist.Ability to travel to various school sites within the local area.Physical capacity to carry out duties involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.Capacity to work in busy, sometimes loud environments, assist with student therapeutic processes, and participate in emergency evacuations.This 10-month contract position offers a professional and impactful working environment with a focus on student well-being and educational outcomes in a dynamic school setting.To explore this role further and learn more details, interested candidates are encouraged to apply and participate in an interview process.
