Kennel Technician
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for animal care and be comfortable working in a kennel environment.
Duties
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals
- Handle dogs with various temperaments safely and effectively
- Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
Experience
- Previous experience in , animal care, or pet care is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of dog handling techniques
- Experience working in a kennel or veterinary setting is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable with animal handling and behavior
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
