Heavy Equipment Mechanic
*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment to ensure functionality and safety. *Duties* - Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues on heavy equipment - Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems - Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems - Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as brake repairs and tire services - Align and adjust equipment components - Operate hand tools and power tools effectively - Perform heavy lifting as required *Skills* - Proficiency in working with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications - Mechanical aptitude with a strong understanding of heavy equipment mechanics - Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals - Experience with hand tools and power tools - Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices - Familiarity with brake repair and tire service procedures - Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks - Skill in aligning and adjusting equipment components
