Southampton Seasonal Housekeeper

Private family seeks an experienced, energetic and hardworking Housekeeper to help maintain their residence in Southampton, New York. The ideal candidate should be extremely fluent in English, detail-oriented, have strong knowledge of deep cleaning services in addition to primary housekeeping duties, and have a proactive attitude toward keeping the home in pristine condition. This position requires previous experience working with an UHNW Family. Must be polished, professional, and extremely reliable, resourceful and have a sense of urgency. Candidate must have a "can-do" attitude with the ability to work independently, as well as with a team. This is a full-time, year-round position consisting of a minimum of 40 hours per week during the winter months, with flexibility and availability to work extended hours during the summer season. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform all aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning to maintain the residence in pristine condition Run household errands as needed, including dry cleaning and grocery shopping Manage and procure household supplies and groceries to ensure proper stock at all times Organize and maintain closets, pantries, and all storage areas for efficiency and accessibility Handle laundry duties, including the regular changing of sheets, towels, and household linens Additional Housekeeping duties as needed and requested Requirements: Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal Excellent references required from both current and previous employers Minimum 3+ years of experience working in a private home, experience working with UHNW Family preferred Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, organization, fine arts, and antiques Poised and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed Willing to work when the family is in residence (every ~2 weeks year-round, often weekends) Valid Driver's License with clean driving record Legally able to work in the United States Benefits – 50% Health Insurance reimbursement
