The Shift Leader / Shift Manager role is a hands-on leadership position and the primary development path to becoming an Assistant Manager or General Manager at Marcos Pizza. Why This Role Matters Shift Leaders are responsible for Product, Service, and Image the cornerstones of Marcos Pizza. You lead the team during your shift, set the pace, and ensure every Guest receives a 5-Star experience. We intentionally develop our Shift Managers through coaching, training, and mentorship so they gain real leadership skills, confidence, and pride in their work. What Youll Do Lead and supervise crew members during day or night shifts Open and close the restaurant and manage shift transitions Coach, motivate, and train team members on the floor Ensure high-quality food, fast service, and order accuracy Work all stations (makeline, ovens, cut table, prep, guest service) Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and brand standards Coordinate with drivers and managers to ensure efficient deliveries Recognize and address product or supplier quality issues Operate equipment safely and in compliance with labor laws Lead by example and support a positive, team-first culture Employees under 18 may not operate or clean certain equipment, in accordance with state and federal law.
