Used Car Technician

"WANTED" Neil Huffman Nissan Frankfort is looking for a Used Car Technician to join our team. Responsibilities: Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Keep shop area neat and clean. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts. Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary. Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Perform Multi-Point inspections on pre-owned vehicles. Recondition as per used car managers authorization. Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership. Requirements: Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen. Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. Enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively. Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality. Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination. Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. Punctual and reliable Basic Computer skills Entry-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair preferred. Strong physical dexterity for working with tools.
