Lead Project Manager – Telecom PresalesThe Lead Project Manager oversees end-to-end telecom presales program execution, governance, and cross-functional coordination for opportunities entering Operations. This role ensures disciplined, visible, and aligned execution across Sales, Operations, and Delivery, bridging strategy and execution while enabling sales velocity and protecting delivery outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Deal ExecutionLead the presales lifecycle from intake through approval and execution readinessFacilitate deal reviews, working sessions, and leadership checkpointsCoordinate cross-functional teams (delivery, engineering, finance, contracts, product, operations)Own overall program readiness and alignment of scope, timelines, and commitmentsGovernance, Risk & Issue ManagementEnforce Front Door governance standards for intake, review, and decision-makingIdentify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and resourcing challengesEscalate issues with clear impacts and recommendationsEnsure alignment between customer commitments and delivery capabilityStakeholder & Cross-Functional LeadershipPartner with Sales to advance deals while maintaining realistic delivery commitmentsCollaborate with Operations on financials, contracts, and delivery modelsAct as a trusted advisor, driving clarity, alignment, and execution confidenceEnsure transparent communication across stakeholdersProcess Improvement & ScalingEnhance and scale the Front Door operating modelStandardize presales workflows, artifacts, and governance practicesImprove efficiency by reducing friction and cycle timeSupport reporting and visibility into pipeline, capacity, and readinessQualificationsExperience leading complex, cross-functional programs in presales or operational environmentsTelecommunications experience preferredProven ability to manage multiple high-visibility initiativesStrong collaboration with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Delivery teamsExpertise in governance, risk, and dependency managementAbility to translate complex information into executive-level insightsSkilled at influencing without authority in matrixed environmentsExcellent communication and facilitation skillsComfortable challenging assumptions and proactively surfacing risksFamiliarity with enterprise governance frameworks or operating models preferredTravel limited to occasional team offsites
