As a member of our crew you will have the opportunity to work closely with like-minded professionals in a fast-paced, engaging, professional environment.A Quality Assurance Tester for IdeaCrew willCreate clear, comprehensive and concise test plans and test casesConduct full cycle testing-Smoke, Unit, Functional, Integration, UAT and Regression in multiple environmentsDevelop and maintain automated test scripts and triage test defectsPerform Defect Tracking, Gap analysis, and Risk analysis with working knowledge of HIPAA compliance standardsWork independently to identify solutionsWork closely with the project team to ensure that all technical project deliverables comply with customer standards and requirementsContribute to business discussions about the project and user interfacesTroubleshoot problems and provide customer support for application issuesTake full ownership of quality outcomes, driving test strategy, execution, and defect resolution with a high level of accountability.Proactively communicate testing progress, risks, and blockers, ensuring clear, timely alignment with Delivery, Product, and Engineering stakeholders.Desired Skills & ExpertiseThree-plus years’ experience working as a QA Tester/EngineerAgile software development principles, practice and process experience) experience requiredExperience creating and executing manual test cases and automated test scriptsExcellent written communication skills; must be able to produce reports, presentations, and technical documentationExcellent verbal communication skills; must be equally comfortable having high level technical conversations with our Dev Leads or translating technical details for non-technical audiencesAbility to conduct and oversee meetings with leadership, team members, clients and end usersExperience with defect tracking tool (Redmine/Jira)Knowledge of the Healthcare industry preferred: experience performing validation of EDI 837 Claim Billing, 835 claim adjudications, 820 and 834 transactionsA strong emphasis is placed on automation, with expectations to design, implement, and maintain automated test coverage that supports scalable, efficient, and reliable software delivery.Experience or familiarity with accessibility testing standards (WCAG) and tools.
