Metal Fabrication Lead

Established custom fabrication company specializing in high-end architectural and structural products is seeking a Lead Metal Fabricator to supervise fabrication operations, manage production workflows, and ensure high-quality project delivery. This role involves leading fabrication teams, monitoring labor budgets, maintaining safety compliance, and executing custom metal fabrication projects with precision and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily fabrication activitiesDevelop work plans and execution strategies to meet project schedules and quality standardsMonitor labor hours, material usage, and production budgetsMaintain workplace safety standards, PPE compliance, and Job Hazard Analysis proceduresTrain team members and support operational efficiencyEnsure adherence to 5S and housekeeping programsQualifications5 years of metal fabrication experience required.Experience with Aluminum MIG/TIG welding; steel fabrication experience is plus.Ability to read shop drawings and understand fabrication conceptsExperience with sheet metal tools including brake, punch, and shear preferredWABO/AWS certification preferredStrong communication and leadership skills
