Safety Coordinator

Our client, a leader in Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish/English Safety Coordinator to lead the development of and support continuous improvement of health and safety programs and initiatives. The salary range for this position is $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr. This is a 1st Shift opportunity with extensive traveling throughout the U.S. Responsibilities: Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify and assess chemical, physical, and biological hazards. Develop and implement control measures to mitigate risks and prevent workplace incidents. Educate employees on safety protocols, including hazard recognition and emergency response procedures. Prepare and implement training programs to enhance safety awareness and compliance. Promote a culture of safety through open communication and reinforcement of safe work practices. Collect and analyze EHS data, including incident rates and environmental impact metrics. Utilize EHS management software and compliance tools for monitoring and reporting. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Engage with employees at all levels to gather feedback and address safety concerns. Support continuous improvement of health and safety programs and initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Health Sciences, or a related field is required . Bilingual Spanish/English is required . Minimum experience of 8-10 years required . Willingness to travel to company facilities throughout the U.S. required Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other regulatory compliance requirements. Experience conducting workplace safety inspections and risk assessments. Proficiency in EHS management software and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster employee engagement. Ability to design and deliver safety training programs. Analytical skills to interpret EHS data and recommend improvements. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment preferred.
