Quality Control Manager

Job Overview:Insight Global is seeking a Quality Control Manager to work at a Plant located in Medley, Florida. This position is responsible for optimization of the quality of the Plant's products and performance. This role will define and implement the short, medium and long-term strategies to meet our customers' product quality requirements at optimum cost and in line with the company's strategy and applicable standards.Responsibilities Include the Following:Lead the plant Quality department and set quality goals aligned with plant objectivesEnsure compliance with ISO, ASTM, and regulatory standardsOversee quality systems, audits, certifications, and corrective actionsManage laboratory operations, testing procedures, and new equipment commissioningDrive process improvement using SPC and data‐driven problem solvingPartner with Operations, Engineering, and Sales on product quality and developmentSupervise Quality leadership and laboratory teamsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent foreign degree)7+ years of quality control experience in cement manufacturingPrior supervisory or managerial experienceStrong analytical, math, and problem‐solving skillsExperience with SPC, process improvement, and plant quality systemsAdvanced knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14000, API Q1, and ISO 17025 (audit & accreditation)Experience with ASTM C150 and cement physical/chemical testingExperience with special cements (White Cement, Well Cements – ISO 10426)Proficiency in MS Office
