PART-TIME/HOURLY TEAM MEMBERS ELIGIBLE FOR RAISE AFTER EVERY 60 SHIFTSCompensation $18.00 - $21.00/hourSeasonal, hourly / Part-time, hourlySummaryEmbark on the role of Lifeguard Manager, where you will assume leadership in overseeing the safety and quality of Premier's day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities include improving lifeguards' skill sets daily through mentorship and audits, supervising the lifeguard and customer service staff, conducting efficient training sessions, ensuring day-of satisfaction for birthday party reservations, and enforcing facility rules rigorously. You will demonstrate elevated customer service skills and contribute to the seamless execution of opening and closing procedures. Elevate the standard of safety and professionalism in our aquatic environment.Essential DutiesEnsure the safety of all visitors by enforcing facility policiesEnsure lifeguards are effectively scanning and respondingManagers may facilitate daily operations at multiple locationsFill in as a tower guard as neededPatron interaction and satisfactionRespond to emergencies, and provide backup assistance, or appropriate care as neededCommunicate with staff members and collaborate with other management teamsThe general facility setup, inventory, and restockingComplete daily reportsEstablish professional relationships with co-workers and patronsConflict resolution with employees and patronsConduct in-service training and evaluationsEmbrace a dynamic workday and a willingness to step into a variety of positionsPerform other related duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBe able to work a minimum of 3 days a week and have weekend and holiday availability1 year of lifeguard experience or equivalent management experienceBe able to obtain and maintain a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard CertificationSwimming proficiency and feels comfortable submerging in depths exceeding 8 feetPreferred QualificationsHave 2 or more years of lifeguard/management experienceAbility to work weekdays and weekendsStrong customer service skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours a dayWork in an outdoor environment exposed to natural elementsAbility to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job and to move or lift up to 50 poundsMust be physically able to rescue someone drowning or injured in the waterMay be exposed to prolonged periods of being outdoorsBenefitsWhat sets Premier Aquatics apart?Exciting Opportunities: Immerse yourself in a career not just about lifeguarding – it's about creating memorable experiences by the water.Professional Development: Elevate your skills with our exclusive leadership training and safety credentials, designed to boost your career and set you apart.Team Spirit: Join a community of like-minded individuals who share your passion for water safety and having a great time while doing it.Our company is an at-will employer.
