The organization provides a nurturing environment that fosters personal and spiritual development. Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for an Athletic Trainer based in Waco, TX. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for implementing injury prevention strategies, providing athletic training services, overseeing strength and conditioning programs, and managing rehabilitation plans for youth and staff. The role also involves guiding them through exercises and activities designed to enhance physical performance and recovery, while ensuring safety and proper techniques throughout all activities. Qualifications Proficiency in Injury Prevention and Prevention techniques to ensure safety during physical activitiesExpertise in Athletic Training, including the assessment, treatment, and management of injuriesExperience in Strength & Conditioning programs to improve physical performance and enduranceSkills in Rehabilitation to support recovery and restore functionality after injuriesStrong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with youth, staff, and team membersAttention to detail and ability to monitor and document progress effectivelyBachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or a related fieldCertification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic TrainersLicensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Texas
