Porter - Building/Property | Painting, Light Maintenance, Cleaning

DescriptionWe’re seeking a dependable Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents/guests, employees, and visitors. The Porter supports day-to-day upkeep of common areas, assists with light maintenance and setup needs, and helps ensure the property is well-presented at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness of common areas (lobby, hallways, restrooms, break areas, stairwells, elevators, sidewalks/entries).Collect and remove trash/recycling; replace liners; maintain waste rooms and containers.Perform routine floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, spot cleaning).Support move-in/move-out needs (as applicable), including basic area prep, light maintenance, painting and coordination with the team.Assist with event/meeting room set-ups and breakdowns (tables, chairs, supplies), as needed.Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns to the appropriate team member.Restock supplies (paper products, soap, cleaning materials) and notify supervisor when inventory is low.Follow safety procedures and proper use/storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.Provide courteous customer service and respond promptly to requests within scope.RequirementsJob RequriementsHigh school diploma/GED preferred.Prior porter, janitorial, custodial, or groundskeeping experience preferredAbility to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time effectively.Strong attention to detail and reliability/punctuality.Basic communication skills and professional demeanor.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand/walk for extended periods.Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work indoors/outdoors as needed.Schedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time, Monday - Friday (potential for scheduled weekends/holidays to cover for maintenance)Indoor/outdoor work in varying weather conditions
