We're looking for an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineer to join our team! This position will focus on managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time. The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. The position will generally be task oriented, requiring someone with a conservative, careful, and cautious approach to work.
Location: This role is working Remotely.
General Job Duties:
Configuring GrayMatter software and hardware for client needs - specific focus on MES applications
Designing, developing and implementing solutions to resolve customer issues
Consulting with and training end users on new applications
Assisting in project development and planning
Performing onsite pilots, discovery, testing, commissioning and go-lives, and demos
Providing technical assistance to the sales team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:
Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable Engineering field (Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or comparable preferred)
Experience with industrial application programming languages (VBA, Python, Java Script, etc.)
Minimum 4 years of experience with MES applications (TrackSYS, Plant Applications, Sepasoft, Production Center, etc.)
Experience with SQL development
Experience with REST API integration
Experience with Velotic (GE) Proficy Plant Applications software is a plus
Excellent level of general computer technology knowledge of MS Office to TCP/IP configurations and more.
Acute attention to detail and process
Strong ability to solve problems and research solutions
Excellent customer service attitude
Willing and able to travel
The target annual base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, based upon relevant qualifications.
