SAP Performance Engineer

This role offers opportunities to work on performance testing for various software applications and technologies across multiple business segments at Apple IS&T. Candidates must be self-motivated individuals with strong programming abilities.Key Responsibilities:Define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.Collaborate in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and enhance system performance and scalability.Utilize profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments and analyze results.Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure quality in cross-team engineering efforts.Must-Have Qualifications:3+ years of hands-on software testing experience.Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman).Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.Experience with performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).Ability to effectively use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks.Nice-to-Have Qualifications:Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).Expertise in SAP BTP platform optimization and its components (API management, SAP Integration Suite).Knowledge of BTP technologies like Smart Data Integration (SDI) and SCP iOS SDK mobile app performance testing.Experience with application and database monitoring in SAP BTP using Kibana and HANA DB cockpit.Understanding of machine learning algorithms and Big O notation.Proficiency in relational and in-memory databases.Code management experience using Git.Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer are a plus.Skills: SAP HANA SAP Performance Engineering SQL Tuning AppDynamics Dynatrace Jmeter load Runner
