Specialized Sales-Account Management

Description: Overall Purpose: Specialized/technical sales position responsible for selling complex/technical products, services, applications, and/or solutions to customers in order to meet strategic or future business requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: 1) Responsible for selling complex technical products and new and emerging application services, generates sales, and supports the sales efforts of direct sellers by leveraging product, industry, and/or technological expertise. 2) Leads or supports sales and technical teams as a seller of specialized/technical products/applications. 3) Demonstrates working knowledge of new and emerging application services and products. 4) May assist peers and partner with Account Managers with sales opportunities. 5) May at times, take the lead in identifying new sales or product opportunities. 6) Customer facing assignment. 7) Provide subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to sale; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs, preparing proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing and strategy plans . 8) Conduct research with AT&T internal and external partners, to develop customer solutions as well as identify new sales opportunities.
