This hands-on, visible HR leadership role is focused on being embedded in plant operations and partnering closely with site leadership on people strategy, workforce stability, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will serve as the primary HR presence at the site, balancing labor relations, employee relations, and day-to-day HR execution with initiatives in talent development, leadership effectiveness, and continuous improvement in a multi-shift, 24/7 environment. Key responsibilities for the HR Manager include acting as the primary HR partner for the site, leading grievance handling, investigations, and supporting labor strategy and contract-related activities. The role also involves supporting staffing, onboarding, and retention across hourly and salaried populations, coaching supervisors and managers on various HR practices, and leading a small HR team to ensure consistent HR delivery. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field, with at least 5 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. They must have a demonstrated background in union labor relations, a broad knowledge of HR disciplines, and a strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
